The ALD Boutique Hotel

Cute room and very good breakfast. Personnel was also very nice. And great location close to everything! The paint needs to be refreshed but I don't mind. The only problem was that the tall curtains in our room on the top floor were not made to stay fully closed. I had to climb and put hair clips holding the curtains together to avoid being waked up by the sun at 5am. I think it might only be a problem for the rooms on the top floor (the other rooms seemed to have normal windows and curtains).

Convenient to train station. Room was very nice. Loved the mural.

The hotel is good value, in a great spot close to the railway station and the city centre. Would recommend taking a free walking tour around the heart of the city, starting from the Grote Market. We didn't have breakfast or use the bar, so couldn't comment on that. We liked the slightly quirky decor, but the corridors are very dark and the sensor lighting was not really adequate. The room was smaller than average for the two of us, but we were out all day, so not a major concern for us. Overall a good stay.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Close to everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. Only issue was the shower got the entire bathroom wet.
