Comfortable b and b but a bit expensive. It was 40 mins by bus from the center of Edinburgh.
Everything was ok.

Really nice and helpful host. Located just 5 minutes from a bus station, from which you arrive in the center in about 20 minutes.

Friendly & helpful staff, plenty of communication which is great. Not too far from City Centre.
Being on the top floor the velux window in the top room was noisy and draughty - room 3.
It looks an old window that may need updating as there was gaps around it & even worse at night when it rained hard and with the wind, the noise was quiet loud.
Hard flooring which wasn’t an issue for me but I am sure if there is a room below it could be loud for them espcially with me needing to get up very early.
Other than that, I can’t fault my stay 🙂

Location was good with easy access to bus and city . shower was good
Grubbiness, bed mattress uncomfortable and was sponge . Pillows were well overdue for replacing and sheets were on bed inside out and were too small. When we first arrived all towels allocated were frayed. After 2 days they were replaced with better towels. Table cloths at breky were stained and unchanged in the 3 days we were there.
