Daniel Boutique Hotel

This is a little gem of a hotel, located in a quiet street in central Yerevan, and only a short walk to Republic Square and the main tourist highlights. Don't be deterred by the unprepossessing access along a back street. Vehicular access is restricted by a bar gate and consequently, the hotel felt safe and private. There are only 8 bedrooms and, given that the hotel has a 3 star rating, I was pleasantly surprised to find an iron, hairdryer, kettle, safe, television, bathrobe and slippers in my large en-suite room. In fact, the room was immaculately clean and extremely well appointed, with a comfortable mattress and good quality pillows. The management spoke perfect English and could not do enough to assist my party with their sightseeing plans. There is no lift to the second floor, but help was provided with luggage. There is a pleasant courtyard, accessed by a security gate, with tables and comfortable chairs, perfect for a morning coffee, which is available gratis on-site. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are a number of eateries on the doorstep, as well as a mini-mart with a currency exchange. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Daniel Boutique Hotel again on my next visit to Yerevan. Top tip: do pay extra for a room with external windows. The budget room(s) have windows looking onto an interior corridor, which doesn't have a view.

The en-suite bathroom was compact, but towels were changed every day.

The location is very central and convenient and the room was clean and had good amenities.

We were not given any information about parking, which proved to be stressful. Also, on the morning of checkout (at 8:00 am) there were no staff present to open the gate to allow our car to leave. That wasted almost an hour waiting for someone to arrive.

Excellent, clean room, very quiet and restful despite being fairly central and it was walkable for me to many of the key attractions in the city.

Perfect location. Close enough to main core without the noise and traffic. Owner was so friendly and helpful. She even helped me find the correct bus stop to catch a bus to the airport. Unfortunately, this was not so easy to research on the Internet. She made certain I got on the correct bus.
