The most incredible place. Better even than the photos. We never wanted to leave. Most of all the managers were amazing. Guillaume particularly is just the nicest guy. The dinners and wines he provided were just lovely. Also his recommendations for wineries and lunches fabulous. Old school charm, kindness, and care. Thankyou! 🙂🙏

Nothing it’s the best!

The team at Quinta da Gricha was amazing! Telmo and Gui made our stay very special and were always available for questions and recommendations. The property is stunning, room was spacious with some amazing views, and the food (lunch and dinner - ordered in advance) was mostly amazing! The property is in the middle of nowhere, but that's what we wanted and loved them most.

The only possible downside was the bed was a little too firm.

Lots of space for everyone. Love the honesty bar where you can enjoy wine and Porto anytime you like!

Our first night after a long drive we had ordered the evening meal service, this turned out to be very disappointing with cold meals which were supposed to be hot, expensive for what we had. This was not just us the couple sitting on the same table ordered cod in bread, they hardly ate any as was unappetising far too salty and full of bone. We all came away with just eating the salad and cake. The road up to the property from Pinhao are not good condition and when you you turn off on the single track 6km to the property they turn truly atrocious with broken up road, pot holes and is basically unmade, this may be fine if driving a 4x4 or you don’t care about your hire car, but for anyone with their own car especially if it’s low or expensive this track turns into a daily nightmare as you have to go out and there is nothing anywhere near.
