Absolutely beautiful and iconic hotel. The heritage, elegance and views are incredible, but what truly stood out was the warm, impeccable service. A wonderful experience and a true symbol of Mumbai. ❤️

Nothing negative to mention. The only downside was being charged an additional fee for early check-in, even though the room was already available.

The hotel serves breakfast in a dinghy ballroom once the main breakfast hall on the ground floor becomes full which is not picturesque at all and really dilutes the experience of staying at the hotel touted to be the crown jewel of luxury hotels in India and Mumbai. We also felt my parents were profiled by the staff of the hotel's coffee shop due to their traditional attire which was quite disappointing considering the backstory of this hotel, the hostess kept mentioning repeatedly that the coffee shop wasn't free or included as a part of their package even though they had no such expectation and were happy to pay. It was finally straightened out by the coffee shop's manager but they went through the same experience the next morning which made them feel that it's a standard practice at the hotel. (My father was wearing a kurta pyjama and my mother was wearing a saree.)
