An unexpected gem so close to the busyness of JHB. Peaceful, welcoming and fabulous staff.
I would have liked a separate top sheet, but I just pulled the duvet out of its cover. Being menopausal, I get hot when I sleep, so I'm really scratching my head to think of anything negative...

Spacious rooms and nice gardens
There was a matric photoshoot on the same day with the kids taking over the facility. Fortunately they were gone when we came back from dinner. I made request on the app that was not done or answered. They could not accommodate a dinner and early breakfast request.

Lovely quiet location in a generally noisy Randburg.
We selected the "Standard Cottage" for our 1-night stay. Big mistake. At a guess this accommodation was formerly the original servant's quarters and it shows. I'm sure the rooms in the main house are as good as they look in the photos, but those in the cottage are far too small, somewhat dingy, and provided hardly sufficient room for our luggage and ourselves.
