La Fontanina Suites

Sadly we were only in Naples for one night, but would liked to have stayed longer. The hotel room was spacious, characterful and very clean. We had to check out early for our flight so missed breakfast and can't rate that. The hotel was on a busy road but still very quiet. Well placed for the port and a 15-20 minute walk to the centro storico.

The suites are just a few minutes away from Mezzocannone and Spaccanapoli. There is a lift up to the suites. The whole place was very clean and comfortable. Our room was massive and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was included and had all you need (continental). Staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us booking the taxi to the airport and let us store our luggages at the venue until the evening. We really enjoyed staying here and we'll definitely be back soon.

We loved everything. There is a small built up of limescale around the shower but it's a really minor thing. Nothing that impacted our stay or made it worst. Just a little area of improvement.

Clean and tidy and the staff were excellent. Valentina on reception gave us a warm welcome and was always helpful and informative at all times. The lovely lady who served us breakfast was the same.

Due to the property located on a main road, at night the noise of the traffic was a little loud at night. But shutting the shutters did reduce noise much.

The lady at breakfast was nice. The price is quite reasonable.

If you end up in room number 101, I suggest simply changing the place. We asked to change rooms and were told that it wasn’t possible at the time of our arrival, but they would see what could be done the next day. The following day, the receptionist said they were fully booked for a moment but would let us know next day in the morning if a change was possible. She never got back to us and we never saw her again. It seems they simply couldn’t be bothered to deal with it. Room issues: - Every morning (starting from 7:30) you can hear loud noises from the breakfast room right across the hall. - Water pressure in the shower is basically non-existent. - For the last two days, there was no warm water at all, hot water wasn't there for the entire time. - There was a black stain in the middle of the bed sheets. - One day, we found our toiletry bag (with toothbrush, face products, etc.) placed IN THE BIDET by the cleaning staff. - Clean towels were left on the toilet seat. (so hygiene is not a big concern for them) - The lady at breakfast said we’re not the first ones to complain about the nosie in the 101 room. To summarise, it was a very unprofessional approach for the hospitality industry.
