Beautiful and quiet location , lovely spacious rooms, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Gorgeous large swimming pool. Nice restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. City centre is about 1.5km walk from hotel, takes about 25 mins but taxis & buses are plentiful .

The main pool closed at 6pm which I think is a little early especially when the weather is hot.

The pathways around the hotel gardens were a little uneven so probably not good if you were physically impaired or had young children

The rooms felt a little small for the price. The property just underwent construction, and although the rooms were very nice, it wasn’t as perfect as I expected. There was still saw dust in the closet and a lot of ants on the floor. The construction was not completed on all of the facilities, so we were not able to utilize them. Although this was communicated to me a few weeks before our stay, it was still frustrating since this is a luxury hotel and all facilities were said to be available upon booking.

The bedrooms are so outdated and in disrepair. They have not been touched for over 20 years ! They have a very unloved and tatty feel about them. The price does not reflect this .
