I loved the location: just outside of the crowded tourist area but just a very short walk to the lake, where the locals hung out, and I did too. Pleasant view of the mountains from my room. Decent breakfast, reasonably priced. There was a local cafe nearby that was very friendly and welcoming and had a small, but authentic menu, as opposed to the tourist menus that most places served
I found the room a bit small but I got used to it and it was fine.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfy - we slept well - and the air con was great!
Great location, super close to the bustling old town and bus stops to get further around the lake.
We would have liked to have tea and coffee facilities in the room (they were in the lobby which was nice but in the room would have made a difference).
Slightest smell of smoke outside our room in the corridor (not at all inside our room).
The price per night is a lot but it’s Annecy and we went in peak time!

Room was quiet and bathroom was clean.
The floors felt dirty and carpets throughout the room and hallways were visible stained, smelly, and even crunchy. Walls were dirty and needed repainting. Although the front desk staff were helpful when I arrived, they seemed to have other duties and several times when I went out, there was no one at the desk, no one to give the key to, which, since the keys are kept at the front desk, seemed like a security concern.
