Grand Cevahir Hotel Convention Center

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, spacious and exceptionally clean. Most of the facilities were located on the lower floor, including a swimming pool with both indoor and outdoor areas. The gym was fully equipped with modern, high-quality machines that looked almost brand new, even though I saw people using them. The spa was also very spacious and offered a wide range of facilities and options to relax. What impressed me the most was how incredibly clean everything was. The entire hotel was spotless, and the level of cleanliness was truly outstanding. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially those assisting us with our luggage and room service. They made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The room itself was also nice. Another great thing about the hotel was its location. It was close to the main street in Şişli, Istanbul, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Some of these restaurants were even open in the middle of the night, which was amazing. We actually took advantage of this ourselves. Because of our jet lag, we couldn’t sleep, so we went out for dinner at 3:30 in the morning! It was really nice to have that option and still find places open and serving food at such a late hour. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The only thing I didn’t like was the TV system. It felt very outdated and had its own restricted interface. Most of the available channels were Turkish or Arabic news channels, with very little variety. Although it was a Smart TV, features like Netflix and other streaming apps were disabled, apparently for privacy reasons. I found this quite frustrating and unnecessary, especially for a hotel of this standard. It would have been nice to relax in the room and watch something of our own choice.

The hotel is very conveniently located and clean. The staff is very attentive and professional. We felt welcomed.

I had a wonderful stay at Grand Cevahir Hotel. The hotel was truly excellent and was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Everything matched my expectations. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and professional. I would especially like to thank Mr. Dogukan Eroglu for his kind, friendly, and professional attitude. His hospitality really made my stay more pleasant. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of options and more than enough for a satisfying start to the day.

The only small suggestion I have would be regarding the liquid soap. It would be nice if it were provided in a dispenser similar to the shampoo dispenser.

We enjoyed the spa, the convenience of the location, and the front desk staff were super helpful.

Rooms were not sound proofed, we had to move because of this as we were here for recovery after surgery. After we moved to top floor, we were disturbed by noisy meetings and continuous knocks from the cleaners so it was no better. The bathroom fan was so loud we had to keep the door shut. The food options were pretty basic, quite bland and flavorless albeit a large menu.
