I loved the location, being out of the hustle and bustle yet still within easy distance of main sights. The setting of the hotel, with its garden, is also gorgeous. The rooms were nice and the hotel itself beautiful. The staff was very friendly! I am tempted to come back to a more expensive room at the water (the hotel has its own vaporetti stop).
The room felt a little dark and a bit in need of attention, but that is minor. It wasn't so clear exactly how to get the lounge and bar service, but after asking, staff helped. The connection to the airport by boat is difficult, given how many vaporetti are full, which is not the hotel's fault but something to bear in mind when booking.

Quiet location near to the water taxi and dinner options
Check in was long and laborious, surely the hotel should have all my details from Booking.com?

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Loved the terrace outside and the beautiful garden. Great service from all the staff.
It’s just a little far from the main areas. But the upside to that is that it’s quiet.

It turns out that we had two beds put together to make a king size bed however, one side was not a mattress. It was a boxspring, and the springs were poking in my husband‘s back. We reported it to management gave them a video. Also, there was blood stains on our mattress too and was told David contact us, but they never did.
