Excellent breakfast and good central location

Nothing could have been better

The location is very good, near the metro station, Hyde Park, Kensington street and major sight seeing places. The room we received was for 4 persons and it was good value for money. The lobby, the bar and staff at reception were ok. Overall, a good hotel.

The Wifi connection was slow and we could not open anys streaming videos or youtube. The elevator was in bad condition, it was very slow.

I liked the spaciousness of the room, the comfortable beds and everything was clean and tidy. Reception and housekeeping staff were kind and friendly. Very handy location for the Gloucester Road tube station. Lots of pubs and restaurants within a 10 minute walk in any direction.

For a hotel of this calibre and in this location I would have expected a higher standard of complimentary room inclusions, such as a coffee pod machine (only Nescafe instant sachets provided) and bath robes/slippers. The hotel itself is an older heritage style building and therefore it felt very dark in the corridors and reception area, not much natural light gets in unfortunately which made those spaces feel smaller and more enclosed. It could also do with a refresh in terms of decor.

Awful sleep as Velux window in Queen suite must be broken so outside traffic noise was horrendous
