This is a small and cozy hostel and I am usually staying there when I am going to Riga.
This time (perhaps it was busy another part of the hostel, or just as a bonus for loyalty), they made a fantastic surprise to me: they upgraded me from a shared room to a single room... for free!!

The place is always very clean and is located right in the heart of Riga with ease of access to many attraction spots. The team at the Red Nose Hostel is always very responsive when you need to contact them. It is my 7th stay there and I will definitely come back.

Beds were comfortable. The toilets and showers upstairs were clean (not the one on the 2nd floor). There was also a coffee machine in the kitchen, but the common area isn't really that big. Really nice and central location in old town though.
One of the male staff was rather rude to me (and seemed like he was the same to other guests), most likely due to ignorance. The other female staff was good. Unfortunately the laundromat there (specifically, the dryer) was broken, so I couldn't do my laundry there and have to find another place (the closest being a 10 minute walk away, in the shopping centres surrounding the railway station)
