The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei

All very good, professional and great location

Room a bit dirty like cracks in walls but nothing major

Everything about the property was great, good rooms, breakfast cast and varied options and all staff were excellent

Would have liked to know in advance about the renovations being done and the spa, gym etc not able to be used

Hotel itself was OK and comfortable. .

Quite old fashioned and dated - eg no usb charging points. They are doing alot of building so will hopefully improve. Swimming pool closed due to building work - not sure why. Breakfast buffet not great either Overall rather disappointing for what is billed as a 4 star hotel.

The location is great and the staff were friendly.

The property was undergoing a renovation when we were there so perhaps some of these negative comments will be resolved in the coming months. The room was more dated than I would have expected. Old carpet with some stains in various places, older furniture, and a bathroom layout that I didn't really care for. Overall, the room could definitely benefit from a modernizing facelift. For the price paid and the reputation of this hotel, I would have expected nicer.
