Very fun "pub-like" first floor hangout with book nook and bar. We were very sorry to have come on the Moroccan Restaurant chef's night off (Sunday in winter months), as we heard rave reviews.
We wished they served breakfast year-round, but found the marvelous Adalbakari right around the corner; they had marvelous pastries!

It was warm, cosy and very interesting because the decor was quirky. Lots of original wooden artwork and comfortable little seating areas. There was free tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was lovely.
Our room was clean and comfortable, but bathroom was small and cramped. The sink was extremely small. But this was reflected in the price.

very nice and cozy hotel in NE Iceland; we arrived during miserable August rains and were drenched from our outdoor work that day, the hotel was so cozy, so reception inviting, the food for dinner and breakfast next morning amazing.

Nice Icelandic shampoo and soap. Bed and blanket was not bad
We weren’t aware that our room was in a separate building, which looked like a motel. The room was not clean enough, floors slightly sticky and there was a snack wrapper in the bedside table left by the previous guest. A few stains on the sheets too. The room was also a real squeeze for 3 people.
