Wonderful host Dagur made us feel very welcome. He also arranged for the hot tub to be ready for us for our arrival. The breakfast arranged for us was delcious and substantial and delivered to our garden cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and quiet and the trees and garden surrounding it made it feel especially relaxing.

Helga was super helpful and kept us informed of our check in. The cabin was really cute but small. So we just packed a overnight bag for the stay as big luggage will not be able to fit. You also need to walk up stairs and across the garden. Kitchen is only to prepared light meals but making sandwiches. No major cooking. Overall, a good stay.
Wifi was a little unstable but we had our own data. So it was not a major problem.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Herring House. The cottage was clean and cosy, and breakfast was generous, with a good variety of food. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor shower, as well as the lovely views of the mountains and the village. Both hosts were very warm and welcoming. We’d love to come back.

Charming, cozy, cabin, with hot tub.
No inside shower. Outside shower was enjoyable when it wasn’t raining.
