ibis Paris Gare de Lyon Diderot

Staff always welcoming, have stayed here before, clean and breakfast very good. Great position as far as transport

Nothing

Clean, functional, nice staff

Size of the rooms, price

It was close to the train station for our early train.

Shower would make water go all over the bathroom.

Lovely staff and very convenient being just a few minutes walk from the train station I arrived to.

Style over substance and poor value for money. The room was clean and looked nice but had neither a bin nor any way to make a hot drink in it. There was a coffee machine downstairs but it was only available for use from noon until midnight. I got there late after a long day travelling so could not even make myself a cup of tea, and would have loved to stay in bed with a coffee in the morning but that wasn’t possible. If I’d have known it was essentially just a bed I wouldn’t have paid so much and would have gone for a budget hotel instead. The ensuite was a kind of wet room which got very wet when using the shower — the water drained slowly meaning the water spread and soaked the whole floor.
