Clean and quiet. Friendly owner

A bit far from the centre for walking. No breakfast, but this was clearly stated before booking

Location is excellent and facilities are very good. Host was friendly, room was comfortable. There is a microwave & a fridge available in a common room. The water pressure in the shower was good. The room had all the amenities one could need including tv, hot water, towels, kettle, cups, tea bags and coffee. Overall an excellent two days.

Room was great actually, a small niggle was that it could use more attention to detail while cleaning (some of the drawers, window sills, wires were dusty)

Close to everything needed including city centre and rail station. Lovely helpful owner who gave us plenty of Info on our surroundings. Property is cosy with a vintage vibe which may be perceived as outdated however, I think this is intentional. Lovely pillows on the bed and everything in the room functioning perfectly well. Tea, coffee and kettle provided and working tv.

The toilet and basin were well cleaned however the tiles behind the door and surrounding could do with a bit of a scrub. Some limescale around the shower and dirty mirror however, in no way was the room as a whole generally dirty just a few tweaks here and there.

Stayed here to go to a wedding. Was greeted by the host who was very informative and told me where the local shops and restaurants were. Very handy here for Chester zoo and town centre. The room was spacious enough for three of us and clean. ( four may be a bit of a squeeze. )it was also quiet and there was also plenty of tea and coffee. The shower was a little cramped but was hot and efficient. There is also a sitting room for guests.

The whole place could do with an upgrade it felt very dated as if nothing had changed since the 80s. The bathroom was old fashioned and there was a crack in the sink. In saying that it was less expensive than most hotels.
