The view, we had room 16 with a balcony and a fabulous view. Also the staff were great! They went out of their way to help us.
The location is perfect for the old town and port. There is a lift down to the old port right nearby.
The pool was a bit small and it was very hot in the pool area

Everything
Due to location within historic citadel, access would be difficult for guests with mobility challenges. Need to carry suitcases across multiple steps : not aware of any staff support.

We loved our stay in the Hotel des Gouverneurs. The hotel is in a fantastic location with views over the bay & the pretty old port. It is just a short walk to the port & restaurants. Our room was exceptional with an unforgettable sea view. Breakfast in the hotel was delicious & plentiful. All the staff were pleasant & helpful.
