Ecoresort Gran Azul

We love everything from the Hotel. It was in a quiet area surrender by nature. We were able to spot a few species of birds. Our room had a view of the mountains and it was comfortable and roomy. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Cristina and her team were amazing, they took care of our questions. We took a couple tours suggested by Christina and we loved it. We were glad we did.

We don't have anything that we don't like.

Spa had recently been built but had to pay for jacuzzi and book 24 hours in advance so we didn’t do it.

* The location is fantastic. It’s only about a 10-minute walk from the center of Salento, so you’re close to everything while still being completely surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sound of birds every morning was a wonderful experience. * The staff were outstanding. They were genuinely friendly and gave excellent recommendations for coffee fincas and activities around Salento. It never felt like they were trying to sell me anything—just honest, helpful advice. * The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, delicious eggs, and great local coffee every morning. * The room and the entire property were spotlessly clean, and housekeeping did a great job every day.

* Nothing significant. The only small inconvenience is that the walk back to the hotel gets very dark at night because it’s surrounded by nature. I simply used my phone’s flashlight each evening. I never felt unsafe—it’s just something to be aware of if you’re returning late.
