Beautiful place, very kind people! Clear pool, where you can rest after hiking. Delicious breakfast. You can also eat here lunch or dinner - we really recommend to do it! If you looking for a place to stay near The Lion Rock it’s definitely this place!

We booked for one night and ended up staying four... I think that says everything! The place is beautiful and peaceful, right by a lake and surrounded by nature, while still being in a great location. After a day of sightseeing, it was lovely to come back, relax by the pool and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with good-quality sheets and towels and mosquito nets. Breakfast was delicious and different every day, and we ended up having dinner there every evening too. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the wildlife: monkeys, squirrels, an iguana, bats and beautiful birds, all from our room! Most of all, the people made our stay special. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and they’re great with kids. Isuru, the owner, was incredibly helpful and generous with his time. He helped us plan our days, arranged an amazing elephant safari and sorted out transportation for us. You also meet some really nice people staying there, which adds to the atmosphere. We really didn’t want to leave. Thank you for such a lovely stay! ❤️

The place is a real littile paradise. A beautiful.garden with coconut palms, great dinning place. The rooms are very spacious with big balconies (1st floor where we were), overlooking this beautiful garden. Sounds of birds, a lake... There is also a nicely sized swimming pool. Everything is well-tended and clean. But most importantly - the staff is amazing: kind and lovely, taking care of every need. The food is absolutely amazing. We tried all sorts of things, but the winner is a vegetable curry. We got 3 different curries with sambal, plenty of rice and papadam. Brilliant.

The only thing I did not like is that air-conditioning is blowing directly on the bed. In such big rooms it could be placed a bit further away from the bed. But this is really the only flaw. The location is quite far away from the main road - we felt this was great. But if someone wants to go out and look at the villilage tuk tuk.is the only.option.
