Royal Piazza

The location was excellent. Just a few blocks from where we could be dropped off, easy walk with our bags on the cobblestones, easy to find the hotel, and communication was great. Appreciated the breakfast from the restaurant next door, especially the breakfast box that was delivered to us the night before we had a very early checkout (before the restaurant opened) to make it to our next location. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, great view from the balcony over the square below.

Great location in the center of Split but silent once inside! Beautiful spacious room, very clean, and great recommendations.

Very comfortable and terrific beds and bathroom

This is not as advertised as (1) it is more like booking “Rooms by a Host” as opposed to as advertised on Booking.com as 24 hour reception and the breakfast is in a neighbouring restaurant and not in the “hotel” itself. Also, no real reception desk as we were emailed our room number before arrival and were met by a very polite Host upon finding the “hotel” which is located off a side street and we were met on the 2nd floor of the building. The photo showing a photo of the hotel is not clear as access is to the side of the building and not the normal entrance of a typical hotel. This was very disappointing as I don’t ever book “room” and host type of accommodation. No cold water available by the host despite extremely high temperatures outside. Just room temperature water available. No bar. Staff in the neighbouring breakfast restaurant were incredibly unfriendly except for the main guy setting us up at the outside table and he let us stay there for a while afterwards as we had some further travelling to plan out.
