A brilliant place to stay in Split. The location is hard to beat: right in the heart of the Old Town and just moments from the Riva, but still a comfortable and relaxing base to come back to. There’s a Spar supermarket, ATM and plenty of excellent restaurants within steps of the apartment. Do yourself a favour and get a juice from the juice bar downstairs too - they’re fantastic! The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped, with plenty of towels and toiletries, as well as robes and slippers. And a genuinely decent hairdryer, which is always welcome when travelling! Double glazed windows meant it was quiet in the room, and the AC worked well. Everything was very easy from arrival onwards. The access instructions were clear, and we were given lots of genuinely useful advice about what to see and do in Split and the surrounding area. Communication from Ines, Igor and the team was excellent: friendly, responsive and helpful without being intrusive. Another really useful touch is the luggage storage in the entrance foyer, so if you arrive before check-in or have time to explore after checking out, you don’t have to drag your cases around the Old Town. One thing worth knowing before you book: this room is on the top floor and there are five flights of stairs with no lift. It wasn’t a problem for us, and certainly helps work off some of the excellent Croatian food and wine, but it would not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility or difficulty climbing stairs. Overall, a fantastic stay: exceptionally clean, superbly located, thoughtfully equipped and very well managed. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great base in the heart of Split.
