This is a magnificent place to stay. This is basically a condo right on the lake. The views are stunning. The facility had a washer/dryer which was so helpful since we were on a three week vacation, only bringing a carry on. A beautiful gas fireplace and well equipped kitchen and bathroom made this stay great. But by far the best thing is the view of the lake!! Wished we had more time to just relax and take in the view!!

The location is far from town. They do have a shuttle on the hour which was very helpful. On our way there after being dropped off at the bus station we thought we would enjoy a walk to the hotel since it was right along the lake and there was a path. DO NOT make this mistake!! The path was closed for repairs quite a ways into our hike so we had to backtrack quite a bit. Find out where the shuttle can pick you up or use a taxi/uber. Also,I do not recommend the restaurant. We had dinner there one night and it was VERY overpriced for what we got. I don't mind paying for a gourmet meal but the portions were laughable and the food was not even that great. Also it seems they are trying way too hard to be high class. Very pretentious. Really fell flat. How about serving good food at a fair price. You might just hit it out of the park with that location.

Great location just outside of town. Rooms had great views across the lake, spacious and well furnished. Housekeeping keeping and restaurant staff were perfection. Having a carpark and shuttle to town was handy.

Walk to our room from the lobby required walking outside via 2 lifts. Was surprised to be woken by airplane noise in the mornings. We had to keep the blinds closed as you can see into rooms from the walkways.

The reception area

The shuttle service not being avail 3 times when I tried to book. Initially not being told I needed to book. Having to contact reception every day and ask for milk (when housekeeping can see there’s none). Doesn’t matter that this was disclosed. Requesting a blanket- no one came. Had to ask again the next night. Access via the car park and view wasn’t consistent with my previous stay (also a 2br lake view apartment).
