The Melita

The location was convenient to Victoria station and an easy walk to many things. It’s a charming boutique hotel on a nice street. It’s very quiet and my room and bed were very comfortable. The staff was great! Very friendly, hospitable, welcoming, and helpful. The sitting area by the reception encourages chatting with other guests if desired. Special mention to staff person Anya, with whom I had very pleasant conversation. She was particularly friendly. It’s rare to find friendly hotel service like Anya and the other staff members

I can’t think of anything.

Very friendly staff, nice location, complementary coffee and pastries in the morning, cute paintings with London on the walls

The staff were absolutely delightful, even going as far as offering us coffee a bit after 9:30 a.m. because we had been out late that night. The room was clean and cozy, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was awesome as well. Music on the lobby was top notch.

Getting up the stairs to the room was a bit hard, especially for the rooms on the fifth floor, so beware of the possibility of needing to get some exercise in to get to your room. The stairs were also kind of slippery going down. The bathroom was a bit tight, but it was in perfect condition.

Location good and staff welcoming

Layout of twin room room both beds should have a side table and plug point! The tv is behind the headboard It’s a bit cramped to have breakfast served in the reception area. A dining room would be a good idea.
