Fab location, great history of the property The staff really can’t do enough for you.
Please do respect the no shoe policy though as it really helps keep the authenticity of the hotel.

This place is basically step back in time yet with the modern facilities attached. What a great boutique hotel plus historical museum in one spot!
The hospitality of Ting, the boys, and everyone in the hotel, they just make you feel so comfortable and easy to settle in. The greetings you received each time when you get back from your wandering x, feels like coming home.
And the amazing breakfast! I would be happy to have it everyday for the rest of my life!

The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious, including traditional dishes. We also loved the no shoe policy for the rooms upstairs. They have renovated the building so tastefully, keeping the charm alive while making facilities modern and functional - a beautiful place to stay!

Such an amazing place to stay, the elements are authentic and so much has been saved from the original building. Also the whole interior adds up to the experience. Next to this the staff is wonderful and super friendly. Loved every minute here, we were sad to leave. Next to all this the location is perfect to discover George Town.
