Hotel Torres de Somo

Bathroom was uncomfortable, no amenities, soap dispenser too far from the sink, a shower that floods the bathroom. Also, clothes hanging was difficult.

A truly charming little hotel, like a small castle surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful nature, just outside Santander. Everything is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean, with a very tasteful style that combines elegance and warmth. Every detail feels thoughtfully chosen, creating a special and welcoming experience.

Room was excellent, staff very welcoming and friendly. This was a 3 night break for us travelling on our way home back to England. Hotel is is excellent location a short walk from Somo town. Very much a beach surf vibe going on with beautiful beaches.

No negatives here.

The external hotel looked amazing and the location was good. It was clean ans comfortable. The food in the restaurant in the evening was very good it was just a shame the dining room was so empty and lacked any character. One waitress stood in the middle waiting for us and others to finish which made a quiet atmosphere. She didn’t appear to have anywhere else to go and it was weird just standing there all evening when she wasn’t delivering food etc. she was very good for service.

The entrance seemed unfinished with no reception (just a table) and the dining room appeared empty and soulless. Our room was small and dark with old fashioned furniture and bathroom. There were features glass walkways on the bedroom corridors - we didn’t like those as I hate heights but I had to go on it to access our room.
