Mercure Paris 19 Philharmonie La Villette

Area located nearby the metro station. Enough restaurants around, nice park for rest. Bigger rooms compared to the other Paris Hotels. Rooms were clean.

Breakfast was weak for a 4* hotel. We could able to eat only egg, chicken bacon, cheese, cereal and some croissants. Nothing else. In some Ibis hotels, they even serve more choice. AC was not working as they mentioned during the reservation however even by the end of September, the weather was high.

Good location and breakfast was okay.

No AC at the room, only fan was provided.

The room was spacious and comfortable.

The air conditioning wasn’t working and a noisy fan was in the room. Also, the shower selector on the bath was stuck and I couldn’t have a shower

I was there only for one night because of a concert. I booked this hotel mainly because the friend who went with me stayed there before, and recommended it to me, since it's close to the metro station. So basically speaking, the location is good, and there are many restaurants close by as well. The room itself is ok for one-night, but really plain.

It is a 4-star hotel, but the facilities in the room don't feel like a 4-star hotel at all. The hairdryer is unsafe. It keeps sucking my hair into the back vent during use. The toilet paper holder is very loose, causing the toilet paper to constantly fall off. The sanitary disposal bags next to the toilet are completely empty. The room fridge did not have the free bottled water promised in the hotel email. We had to ask the front desk for it. The room has no ceiling light. The only bright floor lamp has its switch on the floor, wedged in a very narrow gap next to a small table. It is extremely inconvenient to reach back there every time to turn it on or off.
