Hotel Am Moosfeld

The property feels more like a cozy B&B or serviced apartment than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options. The hotel is located in a pleasant neighborhood, with bus and subway connections within easy walking distance, making it convenient for exploring the city. The indoor swimming pool was decent and well-maintained for a relaxing swim.

The room lacked basic tea and coffee-making facilities, which was disappointing. A more significant issue was the absence of an in-room telephone; was particularly inconvenient for international travelers who may not have a local SIM card or reliable mobile connectivity. Since many of the guest rooms are located in buildings separate from the reception area, any query or request for assistance required leaving the room, walking out of the building, and going to the reception building in person. Apart from one particularly helpful morning receptionist who was friendly, responsive, and eager to assist, the overall service experience at reception lacked the same level of commitment and proactive customer care. Additionally, the Wi-Fi speed in the room was quite slow and could be significantly improved. While the indoor pool was a nice amenity, it is not heated and was quite deep, making it less suitable for families with young children.

It was a great place to stay in Munich, amazing breakfast with huge variety of food, swimming pool and sauna, clean rooms and friendly stuff. We also really liked the elevator button in the main building, it’s quite unique design and very dopamine feeling to press it.

The hotel is quite old and not renovated and it’s located quite far from the city center, but overall it’s a great value for money.

There were cockroaches in the room when we arrived. I understand the hotel is sorrounded by grass and trees, so I did not report it as a major issue, but it was no ñt so pleasant to see this.

Customer service is not the main strength of the night shift receptionist, everytime we had a question we had the feeling to be bothering.
