Swissotel The Bosphorus Istanbul

Absolutely sublime in every way. Beautiful rooms, superbly appointed, very comfortable, very helpful, friendly and warm staff. Incredible views and good location with a resort feel. Huge spread for breakfast. Beautiful rooftop bar, must experience with live dj and drinks. Wonderful touch to celebrate our 30th anniversary with cake & room upgrade… thank you, truly appreciate making our last night in Istanbul so memorable.

Very busy foyer at most times. Access out of the hotel not as easy to public transport.

The Room was what we expected

The Accounts department has annoyed me intensely. A Sum of 20,000 Lira was supposedly held against my credit card on Check in which is normal practice. Instead this sum was deducted from my credit card. I pointed this out to the front desk the following day and again on checking out and in a Phone call from Ireland. My credit Card still hasn't been credited with the balance amount. My check out date was 3rd October and our room number was 1594. Roderick Cooper

Location, view and staff

Roof top restaurant was below expectations, they forgot our main course, we waited for a long time, they apologized, offered a glass of wine but my dinner experience was ruined

The sleep quality and great location

No thing great. Amenities in the room always short. Some of the staff are not trained well and do not respect customers enough. Far away from well known Swiss hospitality.
