Cedar Court Bradford Hotel

Room was a good size, comfy bed and good bathroom facilities.

Breakfast was pretty poor quality, food had dried out under the hot hold; Location isn't well signposted when driving.

It’s a nice property . Feels safe for a solo traveller.

Additional charge for parking

The facilities are good and comfortable. Spacious parking.

They need to improve a lot the cleaning. My room was not cleaned properly. The floor was full of hair and the bathroom was dirty. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. I called the receptionist and I informed them about the situation and they send someone that he supposed to clean it. Instead of coming with a vacuum cleaner, cleaning liquids and in general prepared, he popped up with one piece of cloth, no cleaning liquids no vacuum. He tried to clean the toilet a bit unsuccessfully. In the end I cleaned the toilet by myself with wet napkins. In the breakfast area, many plates that were on the breakfast to use them to eat were dirty from dry food that was not properly washed. For God sake before they put the plates over there, they didn’t check them? The personnel was doing just the basic job they didn’t show honest care for the guests. they were kind but all these things showing that deep inside they don’t care to deliver high class services. And you could see also the same on the breakfast itself it was below average not too many choices and even the choices that they had were badly cooked. For example the croissants they had ,where 100% not cooked on their premises and probably they were buying them ready from somewhere but this is not a problem. The problem is that you couldn’t eat them. They were not soft like they should be, they were hard and cold.

The room was clean but basic. The location was suitable for our needs. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

The car parking was faffy. The breakfast was mediocre. Some hot food was fine, the dining room was clean. Watered down juice and the satsumas were way past their best. Some of the food was nice - bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms. Other food was cheap - sausages, dried up beans, overdone eggs, thin bread for toast. Cheap cereal and watery yogurt. Meagre and damaged fresh fruit. There were women knocking on the fire doors to come in and use the toilets - they then left the same way past us eating our breakfast. The room was clean and basic, however, there was no safe, no fridge and no bottled water. The toiletries were sparse! Two units screwed to the wall. I could not use the shower gel in the bath as it was high up for the shower. The location was suitable and the beds were comfortable. I would not stay again and would not recommend which is a shame as the good bits were fine. More attention to the customer experience would be a good starting point. Food is a game changer - this is not the area to cut corners.
