Hall Garth Hotel Darlington, Sure Hotel Collection by BW

Lovely building in very pleasant setting. Staff first rate. Beds very comfortable and bathroom excellent. Good breakfast. Choice of many TV programmes if interested.

Evening food just ok. Could do with a lick of paint here and there but good efforts made to keep it pleasant.

Pleasant staff

Bathroom smelt of stale smoke, toilet dud not flush away waste, had to request assistance and it made no difference. The paint and bath panel was peeling . Rooms in need of refurbishment

Generally everything except the Stable bedroom! Food is first class as are the Staff - Thank you.

Bedroom in stable block was terrible! This is our third visit this year to the Hotel as my wife loves the Spa treatments. However, on this occasion, we ended up in a terrible extremely small and cold bedroom in the Stables Block with an unusually small floor level window which we were unable to open? Thankfully we were given a room heater by the staff. Sadly I have to say that on this occasion we were very disappointed with the accommodation. We are very fond of this hotel and will not be deterred to return in future but never in the Stable accommodation again!!!

Comfy beds and nice breakfast. Friendly helpful staff.

Very noisy room neighbours. The walls seemed very thin.
