My room was a nice sized comfortable room with a large bathroom, which included a whirlpool tub. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and also helped me with my luggage since the apartment has no elevator. It is a nice, basic hotel room. The wonderful thing about it is that it is two blocks from the Spanish steps and the metro station. It is also a close walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon and just a few more minutes to Piazza Navona.
Complimentary water, like the other Italian hotels I stayed in this trip provided, would be a nice touch. Also, if you are really noise adverse, this may not be the hotel for you. The restaurant on the first floor stays open late and the restaurant delivery truck start up early in the AM. I closed the window (I usually like windows open) but still heard the restaurant and the trucks. I thought it was expensive for what i received and compared to another place i stayed close by, although admittedly I booked very late.

Great location
The room is located in an attic and requires climbing many stairs, with no convenient access.
The room itself is in need of painting and renovation. The walls were dirty, and the bed was sagging and uncomfortable.
A major problem was the entrance to the building. Garbage was left there throughout all five nights of our stay, creating a very unpleasant smell throughout the building and making it unpleasant to enter.
There are no blackout curtains, so the room becomes bright in the morning.
