This is a charming rustic property set in a pleasant semi rural location about a 15min walk to the walls providing a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the old city. There is a nice pool at the end of the garden which was never crowded. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and the outsied terrace the perfect place to enjoy it!
Only minor issues - the pillows could be a bit softer and I woudl have liked to be able to make tea in my room

The staff were friendly and the place was clean.
Very dated, air con did not cool the room. Garden poorly maintained - long grass around the pool, scum around the perimeter of the pool. The whole place is rather tired. Only stay here if you have a car. We are fit and do a lot of walking but it was a trek in and out of Lucca that we didn’t want to do every day.

Nothing about the place but it is a 30 minute walk into the center of Lucca, just good to know.

The location was supposed to be close to Lucca. You could not comfortably walk.
There was a terrible sewer smell in the bathroom. Unbearable.
