Very well located, beautiful rooftop and kind staff

It is a room in a house, not a hotel, therefore except noises.

Comfortable rooms, nice patio for breakfast and dinner, great food, friendly staff

It was difficult for my first taxi driver to find. Luckily they provided a number to call for help.

This was my third stay at this charming property, and it continues to be one of my favorite places to stay. The location is fantastic, and the rooftop terrace is beautiful — surrounded by treetops and a lush, thoughtfully planted garden. Breakfast is such a lovely way to start the day; the banana bread and dosa are definitely my favorites! The staff have always been incredibly kind, polite and welcoming on every visit. I personally prefer smaller boutique properties like this over large hotels. There’s something much more personal and relaxed about the experience — everything feels easy and intimate, without having to wander down endless hotel corridors just to get to your room. I’ll definitely be back.

The only thing that wasn’t quite to my personal preference was the bed, which I found a little too soft. I’m also quite tall, so I would have appreciated a bit more legroom. It’s perfectly comfortable for a short 1–2 night stay, but for longer stays I personally prefer a firmer mattress and a little more space. Apart from that, I always enjoy my stay here and would happily return.

The room was large. The hotel was close to a metro station.

We felt that we didn't stay in the hotel we booked and were placed in an overflow building across the road. The room we were given did not resemble the photos on Booking.com e.g. there were no pictures on the wall, it had generic and corporate looking hotel furnishings and no personnel or security on site. The complimentary water bottles were half empty. High tea was pretty pathetic with a few biscuits and a virtually finished cake. As we were leaving early, we were given a packed up breakfast which was a token effort with a pathetic cheese sandwich, a few scraps of banana bread and a carton of juice. Bearing in mind that this the most expensive hotel we stayed in over our month long tour of India, it was also the most lacking in service, character and value.
