Georgian Court Inn

The location is quite far away from Melbourne Convention Center, but the tram can get me to the Center for PAX in about 25-30 mins one way, still about half an hour lol. Breakfast is included in the hotel rate and tastes so good! Very clean room and it has a "private bathroom" but an unusual location (It is on the opposite side of the corridor and I have my own private bathroom key to access just for me). haha! Very surprising..But I still have my own private bathroom during my stay.

Staff are not 24/7 available. When not in business hours (the hotel is basically unstaffed outside business hours), quite difficult to check in and ask for assistance (and quite hard to contact the staff), such as flight delay...so I must always be sure to check in within business hours. So need to tell the staff in advance. It will be great when the staff hours become 24/7, my only suggestion.

First room toilet did not flush, filthy - second room better, just. Still dirty, window stuck open, opposite train line. Breakfast? Horrendous cheap, fatty bacon, scrambled eggs, cheap baked beans, 2 dried up sausages, least I think they were it was not the young lad Manning well, everything from the desk to the breakfast he was lovely and helpful- whoever owns this place has serious balls to charge $ 250 per night for 1 thing....location. That is its one saving grace. Spoke to another couple, said they had black mold in the room, the kind young lad on the front desk moved them, too.i gave this a 10 so you could be warned! Avoid. At great cost.
