Sangiuliano114 B&B

Nicely renovated and on a nice locations. When you first arrive the location seemed unsafe however the entire city looks like this and after five days in Catania I concluded that the entire island is actually very safe so don’t let the rundown looks deceive you. Remember this place is thousands years old.

All good

Courteous and responsive staff.

Easy automated check-in.

Blisko do centrum miasta. Bardzo czysto.

Skrzypiące łóżka, głośny wentylator w łazience, trzaskające drzwi na klatce, brak otwieracza do butelek.

Central location. Mattress and wifi are ok. Highlight of my stay in Catania: visit of Mt Etna. I booked directly few days before with Etna Tribe, I took their excursion Etna tour & Flavour, such a good deal for 47€. I recommend to book trips in advance as the good ones fill up fast during high season.

The B&B is said to be at the second floor but there are 4 different flights of stairs to go up so you should have a light carry on or you need to be quite fit to carry a regular suitcase up there. Even from the top floor with double windows I could hear the constant flow of traffic on the noisy 2 way street, day & night. I knew it was downtown but I did not know it was one of the main streets of Catania. The configuration is not common because the sidewalks are extremely narrow but the 2 way street is super busy so not great to be a pedestrian around. Noisy bathroom ventilation, I also could hear both my neighbors’ bathroom ventilations while they were using it.
