East King Business Hotel (West Lake store, Hangzhou)

Location was good. Not too far from the West Lake. There were also night markets that was just downstairs and convenient for a flavour of the night market scene in Hangzhou. You can see the brillant sunset of Hangzhou from the living room.

Breakfast was provided, but the receptionist did not mention that it stops at 8.30am. It is a big early to finish the breakfast buffet considering it was a Saturday morning.

The hotel is located in a quiet street near a major commercial hub. The popular tourist zone is within a walking distance. I also got an upgraded room with Lake view. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating, which is very typical in the winter months in Hangzhou. I also like the book about the history and culture information about the neighborhood. I grew up in Hangzhou and some buildings are familiar to me as a child, but I never knew the history behind these buildings. I found it is very entertaining to learn the historical development on one of the most famous neighborhood in the city.

Can hear the shower sound on the next room.

Location and the fact it was duplex. Price.

Smelled a bit like tobacco in communal areas. Looking a bit warn... In need of an update.
