Great room. Extremely friendly owner and family. Very helpful and accommodating, organised drivers whenever I needed as it was hard to get a driver down the road. Very helpful and lovely.

The stunning view from the room and balcony over the waterfall and across to the hills The amazing room - felt like walking into a 5 star hotel room :) It was much more spacious and well fit out than we expected. A stand to hang hats and clothes, bathers and towels, luggage racks and a couch. The bathroom was spacious with thoughtful detail around where to put your things, shampoo and shower gel provided, soap and hand towel provided, plenty of space in the shower including space for toiletries. We really appreciated the great shower and drainage - the water from the shower was properly separated from rest of bathroom with glass, a shower door and proper tiling and drainage. This may sound petty but properly designed and built bathroom drainage seems to be somewhat rare in accommodations in Sri Lanka, even in accommodation which can be really nice in all other aspects! The friendly family and staff were lovely Delicious breakfast Delicious food from the cooking class/demo Being able to walk down to the waterfall from our room where kids could play for hours The shelter at the waterfall with nets to lie down and chairs and deck chairs to relax in shade Watching cheeky monkeys from our balcony and the waterfall Being a little out of Ella town was great - the town can be a bit noisy/dusty/smelly but the surrounding country side is beautiful. But it was only a very short tuk tuk ride into town, the family have their own tuk tuk too and ran us into town on that. To return it was easy to flag down a tuk tuk in town for a cheap ride back Laundry service provided Transport and tour services available if you need it The doors of the bedroom when closed shut out any noise of the road at night, all you could hear was the waterfall which did not bother us for sleeping, sounded like rain Room was a good temperature, we didn't need air conditioning, although it was available in the room (September) Couldn't hear other guests in adjacent room from our room

Maybe flyscreens to allow windows/doors to be left open. There are little midges or something around the Ella area, and a few mozzies, at least at the time we were staying. They are even in the town area not just around the river area.

Beautiful location overlooking a wonderful set of waterfalls that we could swim in. Wonderful views down the valley towards the Ravana zipline and only a 5min drive back into Ella's main street. The host family were wonderfully hospitable throughout, making delicious breakfasts and taking us through an enthralling cooking demonstration which we loved partaking in with our children. We would love to return and will certainly be recommending to family and friends, just as it was recommended to us!

It was on the pricier side in comparison to the rest of our trip, however this matched the serene location, unique waterfall experiences and the wonderful hospitality of the family-operated business

Property is set right in front of a beautiful waterfall and they have made a relaxation area right at the waterfall where you can sit and enjoy the view. Thanks to owners for suggesting us to spend some time theret :(

The rooms, bathrooms etc seem worn out. May need an upgrade soon. They are building some new rooms also on top
