The Hotel Criol is very centrally located, walking distance to sights in the historic center. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable, the decor is modern and beautiful with lots of light and outdoor spaces. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend the hotel!
When guests congregate in the pool area, it can be a little noisy for people in the rooms nearby, but the hotel is good about closing it down by 10:00 pm.

Unique, ergonomic, calm, peacefull, transformational, deaign hotel. Nice combination of a water, glass, stone and wood.

The hotel was modern, comfortable, and very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. I'm not very tech savvy and the young lady at the front desk took the time to show me how to use an app to help me get around the city. She didn't have to do that but it was very much appreciated.
The curtail was hard to pull to the wall to blackout the room. We were able to move it bt it took soetugging. I'm sure someone would've helped but we didn't feel like calling someone to our room when we were already ready for bed.

I liked the architecture, decor, cleanliness, ease of check in, quiet location that is central to the historic city center, and good air conditioning.
No coffee maker or coffee in the room. No closet or suitcase stand in the room, no ice maker in the hotel accessible to guests, no mini fridge in room, restaurant open only limited hours, no extra pool towels by the pool, bees on the floor under the jacaranda tree.
