Suardal Guest House

Suardal House was our favorite of all the places we stayed during our week in Scotland. A lovely home decorated beautifully and a hostess who seems to have thought of everything to make our stay perfect.

It would have been nice to stay in town but we appreciated the free parking and the walk into town wasn't unreasonable and pleasant walking home after dinner and a few drinks in the pub

It's a dream home and the owner Ms Sofia keeps it spotless ... that, coupled with her incredible and warm personality made us want to stay on much longer ...

That our stay was too short !

Very comfortable bed, large shower area. The lounge was great, they had NFL Redzone to catch some sunday football highlights! Sophia very friendly, fresh gingerbread on arrival a nice touch.

all good

Clean rooms, comfy bed, modern features like usb charging. Car park, location

A lot not to like. For a start they claim private bathrooom forgot to mention sharred, rooms not en suite . Privacy, had a feeling we staying at a friends house. When I booked it mentioned luxury, glad it has been removed tricked only me. I'm cyclist no storage provided for a road bikes, gentelmen offered to my friend, to keep them outside in a rain, when we did everything to avoid wet roads. I can't blame him, sure his is not cyclist and tries to keep his place nice and clean, though plenty of space to create a storage somewhere things would be different. Lady host was more acommodating she let us have bikes inside. Not sure who is the boss. Jaccuzzi bath was available, though not enough hot water, been brave had a dip, unfortunately no hot water left for a shower afterwards, must be same water tank.. Rooms were pretty warm, to warm, so ok survived. Guess ok in winter, or colder time of the year, but to sleep in 24C room not easy, so left windows open, as suggested byt the host, it's their air condition, been bitten by midges. Sadly not the best experience
