Amazing ofuro bath, great service, comfy rooms. Top choice for Kyoto.

Enjoyed Japanese breakfast every morning but a slight choice would have been preferred. Unable to book the restaurant without 24hrs notice (problematic on the first night).

Excellent hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional hospitality. The staff was always incredibly attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed throughout our stay. The room was amazing—very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a traditional Japanese touch. The location is also perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the main attractions of Kyoto’s historic district, yet tucked away on an incredibly quiet and peaceful street. Breakfast was another highlight, as were the beautiful common areas and room terrace, where we enjoyed some gorgeous sunsets. Everything about our stay felt thoughtful and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto. Highly recommended!

The location and staff were amazing! I am not sure why this place doesn't get more reviews online. The location is an easy walk to everything while feeling private. The hotel grounds were lovely and we had a private balcony and a very spacious room. I loved the cedar bathtub and sake for the bath. The food was delicious! The staff gets 10 stars!! They were so nice; they accommodated every request, they offered welcome tea and cakes, they took our luggage to our room and there were laundry services available. My husband wasn't feeling well and they offered to help me with him and even made rice balls from the kitchen for him because he was too sick to eat dinner. I love this hotel so much.
