Trastevere 2.0

Raffaella and her family run a small, but very pleasant B+B in Trastevere. Raffaella’s friendliness and generosity made my most recent visit to Rome very pleasant and i will almost certainly stay at Trastevere 2.0 again on my next visit.

Our host, Raffaella, was so friendly and warm, she made us feel right at home in the b&b. The breakfast she put out every morning was delicious, with fresh fruits and baked goods - even cookies that she baked herself! The room we stayed in was perfect. It overlooked the street but the excellent windows blocked out all of the noise (not that there was very much to begin with). In the morning and evening we would open them wide and listen to the sounds of the birds (even parakeets!) that would visit from the nearby Botanical Garden. The room was a nice size for the two of us; cozy and comfortable with modern fixtures and decor. It had a good sized bathroom, as well as a separate shower room, which made getting ready much easier for two people. We had read that air conditioning was not typically very strong in Italy compared to the US, but the AC unit in the room was excellent and kept us quite cool, especially compared to the other places we stayed in Venice and Tuscany. The bed was very comfortable and clean. We just loved the place and definitely plan on staying again when we can manage to return to Rome and see all of the things we missed!

I can't really think of anything that we didn't like about the place.

The neighborhood Trastevere is the best and coziest in Roma , so local snd full of beautiful bars, restaurants etc The room was very clean and beautiful, quiet at night Francesca is exceptional host and very hospitable, she welcomed us and made us feel just like at home Will definitely come back here

Price. It is not a hotel, it is someone’s apartment home with three master bedrooms.

It’s not a hotel with staff and lobby. Breakfast is not good. Internet so bad.
