Bishop's House

This is an excellent hotel in a superb location. The hotel is located in the Malastrana, a few paces away from Charles Bridge in a quiet square. The location could not be better, giving easy access to all the main tourist sites as well as to the tram and metro system. You go out the door and you are in historic Prague! There are lots of good restaurants locally but finding a restaurant in Prague is not a problem! The hotel is very comfortable with character, reflecting its long history. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and windows that open. There is an air conditioner but we did not have need of it. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room in the bedroom. Wifi works well, though the signal is not the strongest. The bathroom had plenty of room with a great walk-in shower, though a grab rail in the shower would be a useful addition. Breakfast is very good with a wide range that will suit most people. A nice touch is that there is access (free) to coffee and tea during the day. The staff are great, friendly and happy to help. This is a hotel in which we have stayed previously and to which we would happily return.

The location is fantastic, just steps from the Charles Bridge, and it was quiet to boot. Shower was good as was the variety at breakfast (and the hot chocolate was excellent). People at the front desk were very helpful. Because we had booked a deluxe room, we got a bottle of wine as a perq.

The set up of the sink, with low sides made for water splashing everywehre. No tea kettle in the room. The shower floor was super slippery.

Great location. Helpful friendly staff.
