Friendly staff and fantastic location close to the bus stop, train station and Oxford university colleges. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. My friend had an injury in Oxford (nothing to do with the hotel) the day after we arrived and the staff were very helpful and kind to assist where they could.
Many flights of stairs to get to our room with our luggage.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. And the location is perfect for a visit in Oxford
The main reception was a bit cramped and small, and the stairs to get to it seemed a bit uninviting. However that’s me nitpicking

Excellent location to train station, attractions and eateries. Lovely, clean and tidy room. Staff went out of their way to assist. The room was quiet as requested, and had a fan. The hotel was family friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Easy walk from the train station. Lots of restaurants and shops and major sections of the university within walking distance.
Beds were pretty cheap. Difficult to get comfortable. The location, while convenient, was a terrible place to be on a Saturday night. Downtown Oxford is a night club surrounded by a University. It was noisy right outside the window for hours, and you really wanted the window open to cool the room off.
