The stinky smell of the rooms

Pretty nice hotel, helpful staff, fantastic pool - about a half an hour from Sukhumvit airport.

Not exactly close to the hotel - about a half an hour away by shuttle. Needed to factor that in for an early morning flight.

Very impressed, for the cost of this place I would be coming back as well as its location is perfect right in the middle of downtown . i’ve stayed at many hotels in this area and this one is great. nice pool and everything about it was fine.

Just that musty smell that you get in the tropics when you enter an old building by, it is eliminated in the rest of the building. Nicely made restoration of an oldish hotel.

It was conveniently located for my visit to Bangkok.

The overall standard of the hotel and room. The room was showing clear signs of aging and the improvements done to the room were just patching up the problems. I don’t know how the room originally smelled, since the smell of an overly sweet air freshener hit you as soon as you opened the door. Talking about the door, the lock took lots of effort to unlock. The curtains in the room didn’t close all the way. The mattresses was very hard and made of plastic that made me think of mattresses they use in institutions and hospitals, and not in good hotels. The floor had cracks in it that could probably cut someone or give a nasty splinter. The way to the room was dark and uninviting with lamps with blinking or no lightbulbs I never tried the pool so I have no comments on that.
