King's Head Inn

The King's Head is situated in a very pretty area with lots of nature and beautiful coast within walking distance. To visit the surrounding area, your own transport is necessary. The rooms are in blocks of 4, 2 storeys high within a pretty flowered area just across the car park. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a good choice of Gluten Free food. For breakfast, a good choice of cooked food was available, cooked freshly when you ordered. Fresh milk is in the fridge in the room. The bed was big and comfortable. There was plenty of storage space and we had a nice view towards the sea.

The room we stayed in needs some repairs. Tiles on the bathroom floor were cracked and moved. There had obviously been an extending shaving mirror in the bathroom, but it was no longer there and the site had not been repaired. The fridge did not work and consequently the milk was off, although, in fairness, there was an offer to replace it. The shower is over a deep bath and some may struggle to use it. Cobwebs in the room need removing. Hopefully over the winter some updating will occur.

Staff friendly and helpful. Food was great. Room spacious and comfortable.

The car park was quite difficult, situated as it is on a mountainside :-) My wife finds steep slopes difficult, especially if the surfaces are broken and uneven. I guess you're in the process of resurfacing it, which is greatly necessary.

Good breakfast well put together and very filling with local food. Location great away from it all and very quiet not far to travel to local beauty spots.

Lovely room and excellent location

Very noisy kitchen with drum bass beat all evening. Service at breakfast wasn’t great- asked three times for toast, eggs overdone. So unusual as normally the service is great.
