Historic and well maintained. Bedrooms had individual features. Very comfortable, large bed. Plenty of space. Generous choice of teas and coffee. Tasty breakfast.
I wasn’t sure how to use the shower at first.

very nice people & staff - very old pub - great location - enjoyed the stay and also the bath. Breakfast was okay, but staff were overwhelmed.
breakfast was chaos - not enough staff, or glasses or tea mugs.
Rooms are very dated
Price per night should be £20 cheaper for what you get.

Location suited us and had stayed at The Miller many years ago. It is an interesting building, quite quirky. Staff were attentive and friendly and had told us that there was an event (wedding party) in the hotel so the restaurant was not available.
It was scruffy - clean but in need of refurbishment. En suite bathroom facilities were poor with toilets and showers located in the bedroom area. Rooms varied hugely - our party had booked three rooms, all different, but bathroom facilities in all three were dated and poorly accessed. There were bare painted floorboards in every room and very noisy plumbing which meant noise travelled - up from the bar and between rooms when toilets were flushed.
