Starhaven Retreat

Lovely home, fantastic views and location. Thoughtful touches and wonderful hosts.

We had the most wonderful time with Ian and Robert. Lots of laughs and lovely breakfast looking out over Port Phillip Bay. Definitely a home away from home with plenty of spaces to relax in. We had a very enjoyable afternoon in the cinema with pop corn. The spa looked very inviting however, I was unable to enjoy it as I had a wound on my leg - next time. Lovely walk along the beach front just outside the front door The restaurants that Robert and Ian suggested were great. Could have stayed longer. Very close to a little shopping precinct that had a wonderful fish and chip shop, as well as, a health food/cafe with all local ingredients. With in easy reach of Queenscliffe and Portarlington.

Nothing

The view was amazing, being met at the door by their doggo "Mickey" was an extra bonus. I was there 5 nights and by the time I left, it felt more like leaving good friends than leaving a BnB. The place is lavish, Rob and Ian are brilliant hosts and when something goes wrong (I left my phone in a car) it was "all hands on deck" to return it to me. The breakfast was a great way to start the day and the spa and sauna was the perfect way to end the day.
