Lord Milner Hotel

Breakfast was excellent - variety

Historical building. Clean town.

The hotel actually needs proper deep clean and loads of maintenance. But they're doing their best with what they have

The English breakfast was excellent, fresh and well prepared .The serving by the waiters outstanding..They made sure to serve us what we realy prefer.

To be honest I enjoyed everything

The food was the hotel's saving grace. Dinner was excellent and the breakfast was really good.

I had been here twice before but quite a few years back and it was the highlight of the trip. This time, I found the place really neglected, especially the exterior parts of the building, and in dire need of maintenance. There is a community living across the road and railway station and I would imagine that this is their life blood and need this establishment to grow and be successful for their survival. Maybe they could be more involved in the maintenance and care of the property?
